For a number of years I ran my own theatre production company, Stewart Productions. The company began when my first play, Jujubes, was accepted for Harvest, the Montreal LGBT Theatre Festival. My second show, David, was also accepted for Harvest a few years later and we went on to remount it independently in Montreal and a third time for the Toronto Fringe Festival.

What does sex mean? Why do we have sex? Sex as lust, as love, as power. Sex as self-worth. Sex as self-destruction. Sex as status. Sex as failure.
